My goodness what a year this was! I know I know you haven't had any blog from me in a long while, so much has happened since we last spoke! Well I had the priveledge of attending a few workshops so that I can better serve you, I also still has a full-time job of creating some new and exciting content for you just for 2016 and then I also helped my son transform his teenage life!
Phew what a mouth full!
Well I went to church tonight and Johan Serfontein from AGS (AFM) Waterkloof had a compelling message that made me think about you. The overall gist of the message was Hope and what we need to justify having that hope for the future. You see if we have hope for the future but we place it in people, places or circumstances we're doomed for failure. Okay the non-christians reading here relax the muscles and bear with me for the next few minutes and you'll realise that this is also relevant to you.
In the Bible (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth) there is 4 books in the New Testament (the very first 4) that is called the Evangelicals (Good news). In all 4 of them the same story (parable) of the 5 Barley loaves and 2 small fish is told (refer John 6:1-15). A multitude of people were following Jesus, why you ask? Well Jesus was popular because where-ever He went He healed the sick, made the blind see and called people back from the dead. Miracles were part of His dayly routine. Think about it for a minute, miracles has 3 things that's always present that makes them miracles:
1. There's always some sort of crisis or need that needs to be addressed. Sometimes there's no prayer or even faith present and still a miracle happens! This mean that we too are eligible for miracles in our lives!
2. A lunch basket is packed on the ready.
Whoa! You say "lunch basket?" what does that have to do with anything? Well the lunchbasket represent our talents (abilities or willingness to do something) this could be the ability to sing, sell, teach or play tennis, any ability that you have that could fill a need somewhere.
3. The willingness to give away or share those abilities.
The moment when you share yourself or what you have, that's when a miracle happens!
Johan gave us a great formula which I just have to share:
Momentum = (FI + t)to the power of G
Momentum = (Focused Intensity + time) to the power of God (or whatever you want to call it)
The moment you focus your ability with intesion and intensity adding time, things starts happening! It's not always what you bring, but actually that you bring something that makes it happen.
This brings me to my main message. Was 2015 all you hoped for? Did you achieve your goals or did you miss some? Did you work a plan or did someone-elses plan work you? Do you have the ability to plan and strategise for 2016 or are you hoping for the best and maybe this time it will be better?
May I ask you to book a free session with me so that I can help you reach your goals for 2016 within a set timeframe using your abilities and talents in order to have a well rounded balanced life?
There is 7 questions that should be asked and answered:
Am I effective/ efficient in what I do? Time Management
Am I efectively going in the right direction? Direction management
Is ALL of me effectively going in the right direction? Balance Management
Should I effectively be going in this direction? Purpose Management
Will I be able to continue after a big crisis or calamity? Calamity Management
Am I fit to travel? What state am I in? Recovery Management
Can I transcend (live beyond) myself? Legacy Management
This is the logical questions to ask but they are not in the correct order as we need the chronological order to unpack them and gain valuable insight into our lives.
